It's my sincere hope that Mark, Cherry, Rusty, and the rest of the gang at Deep Forest - or wherever it is they live - decide to feast on the brains of the baby deer (which is obviously suffering from an advanced case of chronic wasting disease, catch a bad case of rustic mad ungulate disease, and begin a long and hallucinogenic descent into madness and anarchy before collapsing into a terminal coma. I think that'd be a lot more fun than the somewhat less than terminal coma the entire staff of Mark Trail Inc. seems to experience in the strip currently.
Something tells me that the deer in this strip died because a major grow op is happening in Many Miles Away. The irrigation is sucking away the water and a whole bunch of other stuff.
While wasting disease and ungulate disease would be great, I'll settle for Trail getting a contact high before punching Cherry in the ovaries.
